Giles Laroche
The illustrations produced by Laroche are very delicate low-relief cut-paper collages. Each illustration includes many steps such as drawing, cutting, coloring and gluing.
He lives in Salem, Massachusetts, and his studio is in a farmhouse in New Hampshire. If he's not at home or in his studio, he's traveling - he likes to take his sketches with him. This trip. He also enjoyed making collages with the kids at school, and it was these students who gave him the idea for the book

蓋爾．拉契(Giles Laroche)
蓋爾．拉契製作的插圖是非常精巧的淺浮雕剪紙拼貼畫，每一張插圖都包含了繪畫、剪紙、上色和黏貼等許多步驟。
他住在麻薩諸塞州的塞勒姆，工作室則位於新罕布夏州的一座農舍中，若他不在家裡也不在工作室，那麼他一定是在旅行－－他很喜歡帶著素描本旅行。他也喜歡和學校裡的小孩一起做拼貼畫，正是這些學生給了他這本書的構想。
