瑪莉亞．姜弗勒里
一向喜愛樹，她曾在義大利爬過無花果樹，曾站在雄偉的海岸紅杉和扭曲糾結的托里松樹下；檫樹的樹葉神似手套、莿桐樹的繽紛色彩、橡實鋸齒狀的頂端，都讓她驚嘆不已。她與家人住在樹木環繞的屋子裡，其中一棵雲杉，是她為了紀念心愛的狗貝卡而種下的。
繪者簡介
費里希妲．薩拉
一位自學出身的插畫家，她畫過許多繪本，包含獲得獎項肯定的《她創造了怪物：瑪麗．雪萊如何創造出科學怪人》（暫譯）、《祕密基地》（暫譯），以及由她個人創作的兒童食譜書《花園街10號：分享來自世界各地的美味》。她在義大利和澳洲成長，目前與家人居住在羅馬。
