珍尤倫（Jane Yolen）
美國作家、詩人。二十二歲時出版第一本書，寫作生涯至今已超過六十年，創作超過四百本書。她的寫作哲學是一天創作六到八小時，「屁股坐在椅子上（Butt In Chair）」，以便靈感小精靈可以隨時找上她。曾獲凱迪克獎、星雲獎、金風箏獎等無數獎項。

繪者簡介
多明尼可尼（Paolo Domeniconi）
義大利插畫家，出於對兒童文學的喜愛，參加繪本插畫課程，就此進入繪本領域。與世界各地的出版社合作，至今已出版五十多本繪本。
他善於使用電腦上色，但卻能營造出水彩、粉彩畫般細緻溫潤的色澤，讓場景既寫實又魔幻，童趣可愛卻也神祕迷離，讓人不知不覺進入他的想像國度。
多明尼可尼於格林出版的其他作品：以餃子的團圓意象，連結母女親情的《餃子》；以食物勾起感情與想像，讓孩子認識米食料理的《米食樂》。
