Introduction to the author and illustrator
Signe Torp is
a Norwegian illustrator. He holds a master's degree in children's book illustration from Cambridge School of Art in the UK. He currently lives in Oslo, the capital of Norway. His hobby since childhood has been painting. He likes old houses, ancient people from hundreds of years ago, and counting down how many days are left until Christmas.

拉開跨頁 一窺城堡的每個房間
插畫家辛妮．托普，先用各種紙張拼貼出建築的年代感，再以細膩的筆觸，描繪房屋內的種種細節，讓讀者有親臨現場的感覺。其中，高腳屋和樹屋採取直立畫面，而城堡和船屋則採用拉頁設計，讓讀者可以在4頁的展開畫面中，清楚看見城堡的每個房間，以及船屋從船頭到船尾的細節。
作、繪者簡介
辛妮．托普（Signe Torp）
挪威插畫家，英國劍橋藝術學院的童書插畫碩士，目前住在挪威的首都奧斯陸。從小到大的興趣就是畫畫。喜歡老舊的房子、幾百年前的古人，還有倒數現在離聖誕節還剩多少天。
