was born in Naarden, the Netherlands, in 1926. She is a well-known European picture book painter with a unique retro style and a large number of publications. Jerda loves to create for children. She said: "When I am painting, it seems like there is a child watching me, and he will give me a lot of interesting suggestions. I create for children, not for publishers."

婕爾達.繆勒 Gerda Muller
1926年出生於荷蘭Naarden,知名歐洲繪本畫家,風格復古獨特,著作甚豐。婕爾達熱愛為孩子們創作,她說:「當我在畫畫時,彷彿有個孩子在身邊看著我,他會給我很多有趣的建議。我是為了孩子們創作,不是為了出版社。」代表作品《蔬菜是怎麼長大的呀?》同為水滴文化所出版。
