Introduction to the author and illustrator
Louise Yeats
could write and draw, and was both the textual author and illustrator of her own works. Her first work "Little Surprise" was published by Blue Lantern Bookstore in 2009. "Dogs Love Books" published in 2010 topped the New York Times bestseller list, and won the Parents' Choice Book Award in the United States and the 2010 Rod Dahl Fun Award in the United Kingdom. Yeats also published this book The work and subsequent publications such as "Frank and Teddy Make Friends", "Dogs Love to Draw Pictures" and "Dogs Love to Count" were nominated for the British Greenway Award. "Dogs Love Drawing" was shortlisted for the 2013 Red Room Children's Award . At the same time, the series with dogs as the protagonists is being adapted into a TV cartoon. In addition, "Dogs Love Fairy Tales" has also been published.

露易絲．葉慈

露易絲．葉慈能寫也能畫，同時擔任自己作品的文字作者與插畫家。她的第一部作品《小小驚喜》於2009年由藍燈書屋出版。2010年出版的《狗狗好愛書》榮登《紐約時報》暢銷書榜，並在美國贏得父母最佳選書獎，在英國贏得2010年羅德．達爾趣味獎，葉慈並以這部作品與後來出版的《法蘭克和泰迪交朋友》、《狗狗愛畫圖》和《狗狗愛數數》等出版成果被提名英國格林威大獎。《狗狗愛畫圖》入圍2013年紅屋兒童獎，已經被改編為兒童音樂劇，於2015年在美國進行首演。同時，以狗狗為主角的系列作品正進行改編為電視卡通的相關工作。另外，《狗狗愛童話》也已出版。
露易絲曾經在牛津的基督教會研讀英語，同時在倫敦的王子繪畫學校修習繪畫。除了插畫以外，她也學習過其他形式的繪畫與素描技巧。她於2010年皇家肖像畫家協會的年展中以肖像畫贏得威爾斯王子獎。她目前居住在倫敦，也在那裡工作。
