作者簡介
卡蘿・賀琳Carol Herring
卡蘿・賀琳是位居住在紐西蘭的插畫家。 她與丈夫以及五個孩子一起住在鄉村的小屋，外頭還有羊、兔子、狗、貓和一匹迷你馬陪伴著他們。她專精於兒童讀物，並從忙碌的家庭生活中汲取了很多靈感。閒暇之餘，她喜歡用不透明水彩繪畫，並且受到了童年時代許多插畫家的啟發，例如：理察・斯凱瑞（Richard Scarry）、瑪麗·布萊兒（Mary Blair），以及愛麗絲和馬丁·普羅文森（Alice and Martin Provensen）。
