About the author
Paula Metcalf At the age of sixteen, Paula decided that she wanted to become a writer and illustrator, and then she entered Anglia Ruskin University to embark on her dream road. In 1989 she won the BBC Young Animator of the Year Award and her film Pick Your Own was broadcast on the Children's BBC. McCaff also won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2003. Not only dance, puppet animation, Eastern European fairy tales, but also her favorite animals have influenced her art style! Her works are very wide ranging from witty to lyrical, no matter which one, they are full of warmth and love.

作、繪者簡介
寶拉麥卡夫 (Paula Metcalf)
十六歲時，寶拉麥卡夫決定要成為一位作家和插畫家，之後她進入安格里亞魯斯金大學，踏上她的夢想之路。1989年時，她榮獲BBC年度年輕動畫師獎，而她的影片《Pick Your Own》也在兒童BBC上播出。2003年時，麥卡夫亦榮獲麥克米倫插畫獎（Macmillan Prize for Illustration）。影響她藝術風格的不只是舞蹈、人偶動畫、東歐童話，還有她最愛的動物們！她的作品十分廣泛，有詼諧、有抒情，無論哪一種，都流露出滿滿的溫暖與愛。她在格林的作品有《白色驚喜》。
